Land Rover:

Land Rover is a British automobile manufacturer specialising in 4-wheel drive and off-road vehicles. Owned by Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) since 2013, which in turn is a subsidiary of India's Tata Motors.

The original Land Rover, built in 1948, was a basic 4-wheel drive off-roader; the brand is now recognised as an upmarket luxury SUV.

This progress to up-market vehicles started with the 1970 Range Rover and subsequent introductions of the mid-range Discovery and the entry-level Freelander In the 1990s, as well as the Land Rover Defender 110.

Land Rover’s famous boxed frame vehicle chassis was used on the original 1948 Land Rover right up until the termination of the Land Rover Defender in 2016. Also, in 2010, 2-wheel drive vehicles were introduced on the Freelander and the Evoque. The Freelander was eventually succeeded by the two-wheel drive Discovery sport.

In recent years Land Rover has continued to develop their family of vehicles using decades of industry-leading expertise in the SUV market.

The Current Range

Varies from the cost-effective bestseller in the form of the Evoque, which has been a runaway success story since its introduction in 2011, to the new second-generation Defender, and Range Rover, which continue to offer reliability, luxury, and efficiency.

The powertrains available for the vehicles have moved from diesel and petrol, into the present and are looking to dominate into the future with the introduction of innovative PHEV hybrid and EV technologies to the line-up; allowing luxury, efficiency, and zero emissions all to come in hand in hand,

PHEV & MHEV

Plug-in Hybrids are available on Range Rover and Range Rover Sport with an impressive EV range of 70 miles*. The Range Rover Velar PHEV has reduced CO2 emissions and an EV range of 33*miles.

The popular Range Rover Evoque and Discovery Sport also have EV ranges of 39* and 37* miles, respectively, great for use in zero emissions zones.

The Defender has a range of 32*miles on a full charge. Mild Hybrid models (MHEV) are available in either petrol or diesel across the range.

Evoque

The Range Rover Evoque is a 5dr compact luxury crossover SUV with all the refinements you would expect for this prestige model. It is available in many configurations, including petrol, diesel, and hybrid also the option of two-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive.

Like all Land Rover vehicles, the Evoque does have off-road performance, with plenty of ground clearance and departure angles combined with excellent traction, power distribution and suspension settings for those wishing to take their cars across different terrains.

Defender

The Defender was reintroduced in 2019, shadowing the iconic silhouette of the original model. The rugged, sleek exterior is unmatched in its class. It would be a difficult task to find a more imposing presence. However, the defender is not just available as a luxury SUV. It is also available as a working vehicle, at home on a farm, or in a forest.

The interior has also been brought to life by a mix of the latest tech and purposeful simplicity, giving the interior with 5,6 or 7 seats a spacious feel. The defender also offers a high level of configurability, meaning it can suit the requirements of any potential owner.

Discovery, Discovery Sport

If it's versatility you're looking for, the Discovery, with its seven full-size seats configured in stadium style, offers everyday family practicality and comfort. With four different trim levels to choose from and up to 14 different configurations, including a full commercial version.

Discovery Sport gives you the same SUV style with quality and flexibility but with five seats as standard with the option of 2- or 4-wheel drive.

Both options have the choice of diesel petrol mild hybrid with different power and performance levels, the Discovery sport also offers you a complete plug-in hybrid.

Range Rover

Recently, the Land Rovers flagship model has been completely redefined. The Range Rover is now a true market leader in refinement and exclusivity, with a fresh, distinguished exterior design and a modern and sophisticated interior overhaul.

The Velar. Introduced in 2017, Land Rover self-entitles this as the ‘avant-garde luxury SUV*.

Focused on elegance, this model is the most visually refined in the model range, with a unique, robust front end and a rear that is different from anything else offered by the brand.

The theme of contemporary artisanship continues to the interior, with an array of comfortable refinements; the driving or passenger experience promises to ensure the highest levels of comfort.

Land Rover Vehicles

are at the peak of automotive elegance. With the brand pioneering the move into the future, the coming years will undoubtedly be an exciting time to be a part of the innovation we are seeing.

Land Rover is an aspirational brand, and of that, there is no doubt that leasing a Range Rover is an excellent option; with markets as volatile as they are at the moment, leasing allows you to enjoy the Range Rover of your choice without the worry of future values.

One of the main advantages of Personal or Business Contract Hire is that it can help you budget more effectively. Your monthly payments are fixed, so you'll always know exactly how much you need to set aside. This can be particularly useful if you're worried about your expenses increasing.

Other benefits of choosing a Contract Hire deal include a low initial payment and the ability to personalise your lease to suit your needs. Plus, with many different Land Rover models available on lease, you can get a higher-specification car for your budget.
