Groupe Renault S.A.

Renault is a French multinational automobile manufacturer established in 1899 by Louis Renault and his brothers Marcel and Fernand. The company produces a range of cars and vans and, in the past, has manufactured trucks, tractors, tanks, buses/coaches, aircraft, and auto rail vehicles.

With its roots in the earliest days of automotive history, Renault has a long and proud tradition of making great cars.

The company has endured many difficult times during its history, including world wars, where it turned to produce tanks for the French army and also made light aircraft during the Great Depression; however, its automobile manufacturing has always remained the core of the business.

These days, Renault is one of the most respected names in the business, and its cars are known worldwide for their style, quality, and value.

Renault has been involved in motorsport as long as the company has been making cars. Louis Renault was a keen racer, and his love of the sport led to Renault's involvement in some of the most important races of the early days of motoring.

Renault has competed in everything from Formula One to Rallying and has been victorious in some of the most prestigious events in the world.

In recent years, Renault has returned to Formula One in a big way and is now a significant player in the sport once again under the Alpine Team. The company's commitment to motorsport is as strong as ever, and it looks set to continue its success.

E-Tech

Renault's E-Tech self-charging hybrid system relies on two electric motors; one motor is used to power the vehicle in fully electric mode when coasting, which can regenerate through deceleration. The second smaller electric motor has several functions, including repeated restarts of the petrol engine, synchronising changes in the automatic gearbox and regenerating/recharging the high voltage battery while braking on decelerating.

The battery can also recharge via the petrol engine; even when stationary, this regeneration stops once the battery is full. There is also a conventional 12v battery for everyday functions like wipers, lights etc. Both are located at the rear, under the load area, so no storage space is lost.

Megane E-Tech Full Electric

A crucial part of Renault today is the warm and sensual designs inside and out; it is one of the few brands that continue to innovate with everyday practical concepts.

An excellent example is the all-new compact Crossover Renault Megane, E-Tech, with stunning good looks and an ergonomic and spacious interior. Fully electric with 160kw (220hp) motor, 289 miles of range on a full charge, 0-62mph 7.5sec *

Three well-specified versions are available Equilibre, Techno and Launch Edition. The Equilibre has a Renault R- multimedia system with a 9-inch screen, rear parking sensors and rear-view camera, heated steering wheel, and a host of safety driver sensors, LED headlights, front and rear LED fogs, tinted windows, and metallic paint come as standard.

The Techno gives you an enhanced audio system, adaptive lighting, front parking sensors, a heated steering wheel, automatic wipers and headlamps with rain sensors, plus enhanced body styling features. The Launch Edition has a smart rear-view mirror, Harman Kardon audio system, adaptive cruise control, 20” alloy wheels and enhanced sports styling.

ZOË Full Electric

Sticking with the Electric theme, the Renault Zoe has been available in the UK since 2013. This fully electric supermini now has a 53kwh battery that will give you 238 miles on a full charge* Under the B mode option, decelerating and regenerative braking recharge the battery.

Available trim levels are Techno and Iconic. Techno has 16” alloys, Park-assist, and auto climate control. Iconic has a 50kw charge facility and 17” alloys. It’s still one of the lowest priced EVs on the market, with a 5-year warranty and 8-year battery warranty making it a great value on Personnel Contract Hire.

CLIO

The Renault Clio was launched in 1990 and is now in the 5th generation. It is a mass-market 5-door hatch with plenty of French style. It is available in various trim levels, including Evolution, Techno, and the sporty R.S. Line, which uses a 1-litre turbo petrol manual or the Clio E-Tech self-charging Hybrid, with a combination of a 1.6litre petrol engine with twin electric motors.

Captur

The multi-award-winning Renault Captur is a modern, sleek SUV with iconic 2-tone body paint and C-shaped LED signature lighting. From within the sizeable comfortable cabin, you have an elevated driving position giving you clear visibility.

Choice of engines includes petrol, E-Tech hybrid, and a full plug-in hybrid. The E-Tech hybrid has the benefits of responsive electric motors 56 mpg combined and an 8-year battery warranty. The plug-in hybrid will give you 30 miles in pure electric mode and recharges in 4h 15m through a domestic socket*. Other engine options are the petrol TCe90 and the 140, both Mild Hybrids (MH).

Arkana

The Renault Arkana is a sporty compact crossover SUV with a sloping rear roofline. Available as a full or mild hybrid in 4 different trim levels. Winner of Autotrader’s best Hybrid Car in 2022[1], it uses the E-Tech system in tandem with the Renault 1.3litre turbo petrol engine to give you 58.9mpg and a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

With a range of innovative products and services, Renault is dedicated to making electric vehicles easy and accessible for everyone. Renault's zero-emission vehicles are perfect for city driving, with easy charging and a stress-free driving experience. For businesses, Renault offers a range of electric vans and cars that are efficient and environmentally friendly. Whether you're looking for a private or business solution, Renault has the perfect electric vehicle for you.

When choosing a new Renault, there are many things to consider. A personal contract hire (PCH) could be your best option if you're leaning towards leasing. Here are some benefits of choosing PCH.

One of the main advantages of a PCH is that it can help you budget more effectively. Your monthly payments are fixed, so you'll always know exactly how much you need to set aside; this can be particularly useful if you're worried about your expenses increasing.

Another benefit is that you won't have to worry about selling the car when you no longer want it. You'll need to find a buyer with an outright purchase and haggle over the price. But with a PCH, you can hand the car back to the leasing company at the end of the term and start looking for your next lease car.

Other great benefits of choosing a PCH deal include a low initial payment and the ability to personalise your lease to suit your needs. Plus, with many different models available on lease, you can get a higher-specification car for your budget.
